Director of Student Affairs
As Director of Student Affairs, Rachel Lintott, plays a pivotal role in creating educational opportunities and programs outside the kitchen-classroom, such as career advising, in-house demos and field trips to local businesses, to enhance the student experience at ICC. Rachel also serves as the International Adviser, providing guidance and support for international students going through the admission process. Having studied abroad herself during both high school and undergrad, she understands the unique hurdles facing international students both during the visa process and cultural process of living and learning in a foreign country. Prior to joining ICC, she worked for the Academic Advising Center in Santa Clara University, where received a BS in Anthropology and a minor in Communication. Rachel is also an alumna of ICC’s Intensive Sommelier Training Program and the Professional Culinary Arts Immersion Program (top of class). After graduating, she worked at Michelin-starred Manresa (front-of-house), Michelin-recommended Dio Deka (back-of-house), as well as the local winery, Hallcrest Vineyards before joining the ICC team in 2012.
