Ben Mims is the Cooking Columnist for The Los Angeles Times. He is a former editor at Saveur, Food & Wine, and Lucky Peach magazines and his writing and recipes can be found on Food Network, Epicurious, Racheal Ray Every Day, and He is the author of three cookbooks: “Sweet & Southern” (Rizzoli, 2014), “Coconut” (Short Stacks Eds., 2017), and “Air Fry Every Day” (Clarkson Potter, 2018) and has also produced several cookbooks for Dovetail Press, Vice’s Munchies, and Buzzfeed’s Tasty. He currently lives in Los Angeles.
