For 30 years, our graduates have gone on to become some of the world’s top chefs. To honor our professional students and recognize their dedication in completing their course of study at ICC, we invite recent graduates and their families and guests, along with our faculty, to gather for a special commencement ceremony at the iconic New York City landmark Carnegie Hall each year. It’s a moving moment to see the chefs’ whites and toques fill the hall to the applause of their loved ones.
The annual ceremony includes a keynote speech by a food-world luminary and the presentation of Outstanding Alumni Awards, which celebrate ICC graduates who have demonstrated remarkable achievement in the field. Past keynote speakers have included Chef Bobby Flay (Culinary Arts graduate ’84), Chef Thomas Keller and Chef Marcus Samuelsson.
