After 30 years in the culinary world, Chef Karen Chirgwin’s favorite dining experiences are still the simplest ones; in her opinion, nothing beats a picnic in the park with good wine, fresh bread, and artisanal cheese. Of course, her most satisfying professional experiences can’t be boiled down so easily; she’s had a wide-ranging background in restaurants, catering, and private and corporate cooking. Chef Karen knows one thing for sure: for a chef, there’s nothing better than a happy diner. She joined the International Culinary Center in 2007.
