This season, outdo your holiday traditions with professional baking tips and recipes for a variety of delicious indulgences you'll return to year after year. Brought to you by the Pastry Chef-Instructors of The French Culinary Institute, this hands-on class begins with a demonstration of proper techniques for mixing, piping, rolling, and cutting a variety of doughs flavored with spices, fruits, and nuts. Then, you'll team up in small groups to bake an assortment of cookies, from crisp pfeffernüsse and fragrant vanilla crescents to chocolate crinkles and melt-in-your-mouth cranberry-orange almond sables. At the end of the night, your classmates will come together in true holiday spirit for an in-class cookie exchange, leaving you with a sampling of tasty treats to share at home.
