Meet Our International Student Adviser

Like America itself, The International Culinary Center represents a melting pot of different cultures, with representatives from every corner of the globe. It’s this diversity that adds richness and personality to our student body and staff and we welcome students from around the world.

My job as international student adviser is to ensure that the transition from your country to ours is as smooth and enjoyable as possible. For starters, you’ll likely need a student visa for your stay in the United States. Once you’ve completed an application for admission to The International Culinary Center, you can begin the visa application process. If you're here in another status, I can help you change your status in order to study here. I will walk you through the necessary paperwork step-by-step and answer any questions that you might have along the way. I can also put you in touch with current culinary students or graduates from your home country if you’d like to talk with them about their personal experiences at the school.

I know the prospect of traveling to another country can be daunting. I myself lived abroad for two years, so I know firsthand what it’s like to be a foreigner in a foreign land. But you’re not alone here. In fact, you’ll meet others just like you in our student clubs (including one just for international students in New York). With the support of your classmates, chef-instructors and all of The International Culinary Center staff, you’ll soon feel right at home.
