Associate Director of Admission
Amanda holds a Grand Diplôme in Classic Culinary Arts from the French Culinary Institute (now ICC) and a BA in Theatre and Dance from Binghamton University. Before Amanda joined the staff at ICC, she worked in production for cooking television shows. During her time in production, Amanda worked on the TV show Chef’s Story which was filmed in the ICC Amphitheater in 2007. This would be the first time she worked at the school before joining the staff full time in 2011. One of her fondest memories while working in food TV production was on the crew for Jose Andres Made in Spain, providing her the incredible opportunity to travel and eat through Spain the Jose Andres way! It stands to reason that this led her to discover her favorite restaurant, El Suquet de l’Almirall in Barcelona. At ICC, Amanda has held roles in both Student Services and Admissions, assisting students in the pursuit of their culinary education both in the admissions process and while attending ICC. Her favorite thing about working at the International Culinary Center is being immersed in food knowledge and being surrounded by the best and brightest colleagues and student body imaginable.
