Christopher Papagni, Ph.D.

Senior Vice President of Education and Student Affairs

Prior to joining The FCI, Christopher Papagni was the associate dean of students at Marymount Manhattan College, where he also taught education courses. He has worked and taught at New York University and Hofstra University. He holds a master’s degree in education from the University of South Carolina and a Ph.D. from New York University. He was also enrolled in the Classic Culinary Arts program at The FCI.

Previously as school director of The FCI, Christopher worked tirelessly to ever increase the quality of education at the school and address student needs and concerns. In his current role as senior vice president of Education and Student Affairs, continues on with his dedication to the school’s mission, constantly working to improve every facet of the educational process in order to give students attending The FCI the best possible culinary education and learning experience.

Christopher is active in many charitable and professional organizations, including the American Institute of Wine & Food, the International Association of Culinary Professionals, The James Beard Foundation, and Slow Food USA.
