Anna Barrios-Horiike
Chef-InstructorChef Anna grew up in Manila, where the love of eating and drinking is a way of life. After graduating from college, she realized medical school was not for her and decided on a career in the kitchen. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Chef Anna has held numerous positions restaurants and corporate dining room kitchens around Manhattan, and feels her proudest moments in the kitchen are when everything works as one cohesive unit—smooth, mise en place, on point and flawlessly served. She advises her students to “try everything twice” to train their palettes and take advantage of the information and resources available at The International Culinary Center. Chef Anna joined The International Culinary Center in 2010.
