Increase Your Wine Knowledge, One Bottle at a Time

This engaging and interactive course begins with an overview of the geography, winemaking styles, history, and culture of the famous wine growing regions around the world. Through a combination of lectures and tastings (which include, on average, six to eight bottles per class) you'll learn how to thoroughly analyze and evaluate a variety of wines.

You'll also explore the physiology of taste and gain a deeper understanding of how to assess and discuss the wines you sample. And you'll learn all about the principles of pairing food with wine, discovering how to create winning combinations.

To round out the class, you will briefly learn about proper cellar conditions, the effects of aging wine, and some of the basics techniques to serving wines, such as decanting.
