The French Culinary Institute

Learning Beyond the Classroom

For years, The International Culinary Center has been at the forefront of culinary scholarship and thought leadership. We know that culinary education demands more than basic skills. Learning culinary techniques in school is essential to becoming a chef, but one needs to put these skills into a larger and more dynamic framework. We have opened our doors and leading creative minds have come to The ICC to: incubate new theories and techniques; present ideas to the culinary community; conceive of, develop, and test new equipment; and educate and inspire the next generation of culinary professionals.

Now, in our new series of culinary conferences, we will further formalize this role by bringing together today’s best thinkers and practitioners in the culinary world for cutting-edge discussions on topics including: food technology, regional cuisine, women’s issues in the industry, and school food.

These conferences will increase awareness and educate chefs, students, and consumers in the culinary field on the topics that are driving the industry. You will have opportunities to network with, observe, and pick the brains of the individuals defining in the culinary landscape in the 21st century. We look forward to hosting you. The active interchange between thought leaders and attendees at our events has and will keep our conferences and ideas vibrant and focused on the future.
