Over 50 Employers Come to Recruit ICC Students
There’s no better time to start a culinary career than today. The restaurant industry is one of the few industries that is actually growing. The National Restaurant Association expects the industry to add jobs at a 2.3% rate—that’s a full percentage point more than the projected 1.3% gain in total US employment.
The International Culinary Center has harnessed this momentum by cultivating an unparalleled network of contacts—from world-renowned chefs like our alums Dan Barber and David Chang to media contacts at food magazines like Food Network and Saveur.
Students and alumni have the opportunity to rub shoulders with these professionals at our biannual Career Fairs in New York and California where employers are so enthusiastic to meet with our aspiring culinary stars that we’ve had to develop a waiting list for the events. Recently, 20 companies attended California’s Career Fair,and over 50 are set to participate in New York's fall fair. Big names like Momofuku Restaurant Group and The Dutch show up because we’re able to turn out top-rated students who know how to work hard.
