Featured International Culinary Center Scholarships - California Campus

A variety of scholarships are available to students enrolled in programs at The International Culinary Center's California campus.

Scholarships that are awarded directly by The International Culinary Center may be awarded based on need, experience, goals, and other factors, based on the decision of our scholarship committee, which is made up of the school's director of education, director of financial aid, and director of student affairs.

Application Materials

To apply for International Culinary Center scholarships, submit the following materials (along with any other requirements specific to the scholarship you are applying for):
  • FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) - used to determine financial need
  • A 500-word written essay describing your passion and goals for enrolling in their chosen program of study

Friends of The FCI Scholarship

May Scholarship, $5,000

The Friends of The FCI scholarship program provides financial assistance to students enrolled in the following programs:

May Scholarship:

  • Classic Culinary Arts with Work Experience starting on May 1, 2013 (daytime schedule)
June Scholarship:

  • Classic Culinary Arts with Work Experience starting on June 12, 2013 (evening schedule)
  • Classic Culinary Arts with Work Experience starting on June 13, 2013 (daytime schedule)
  • Classic Pastry Arts starting on June 28, 2013 (daytime schedule)
Scholarship selection is based on demonstrated financial need, merit, culinary goals, and likelihood of success in a culinary career.

Veterans Partial Tuition Culinary and Pastry Scholarships

Amount: $6,000

Award Date: Varies

Military veterans who have been honorably discharged from the United States Armed Forces, and not eligible for The Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment (VR&E) VetSuccess Program under Title 38 CFR chapter 31, are qualified to apply for $6,000 awards for Classic Culinary Arts and Classic Pastry Arts.

Personal essay and FAFSA are not required. Speak to your financial aid adviser or contact us with any questions.

Veterans Partial Tuition Wine Scholarships

Amount: $1,500

Award Date: Varies

Military veterans who have been honorably discharged from the United States Armed Forces, and not eligible for The Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment (VR&E) VetSuccess Program under Title 38 CFR chapter 31, are qualified to apply for $1,500 awards for Intensive Sommelier Training.

International Student Scholarships

Amount: $5,000

International students enrolled in Classic Culinary Arts and Classic Pastry Arts may apply for $5,000 awards from The International Culinary Center. Applicants must submit a 500-word written essay describing their passion and goals for enrolling in their chosen program of study.
