Featured Scholarships - California Campus
A variety of scholarships are available to students enrolled in programs at The International Culinary Center's California campus.
Scholarships that are awarded directly by The International Culinary Center may be granted based on need, experience, goals, and other factors, based on the decision of a scholarship selection committee made up of the school's director of education, director of financial aid, and director of student affairs.
Application Materials
To apply for International Culinary Center scholarships, submit the following materials (along with any other requirements specific to the scholarship you are applying for):- FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)
- A 500-word written essay describing your passion and goals for enrolling in their chosen program of study

William J Bullis Culinary Arts Scholarship
Amount: $15,000Application Deadline: July 18, 2012
Founded in memory of student William Bullis, this scholarship is funded by William's family, friends, and community with the Friends of The FCI to help a worthy student from a California school district realize his or her culinary dream. For further details, download the scholarship application.

Friends of The FCI Culinary Arts Scholarship
Amount: Two $5,000 scholarshipsApplication Deadline: May 17, 2012
Award Date: June 4, 2012
The Friends of The FCI will award two $5,000 scholarships to students enrolled in the Classic Culinary Arts program starting June 6 or June 26. Scholarship selection is based on demonstrated financial need, merit, culinary goals, and likelihood of success in a culinary career.

Veterans Partial Tuition Culinary and Pastry Scholarships
Amount: $6,000Application Deadline: Varies
Award Date: Varies
Military veterans who have been honorably discharged from the United States Armed Forces, and not eligible for The Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment (VR&E) VetSuccess Program under Title 38 CFR chapter 31, are qualified to apply for $6,000 awards for Classic Culinary Arts and Classic Pastry Arts.
Personal essay and FAFSA are not required. Speak to your financial aid adviser or contact us with any questions.

James Beard Foundation Culinary Arts Scholarship

Founded in 1986, the James Beard Foundation is dedicated to celebrating, nurturing, and preserving America's diverse culinary heritage and future. The James Beard Foundation will award a $5,000 scholarship to a student enrolled in a Classic Culinary Arts evening program scheduled to meet on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
