To find out how The International Culinary Center can give you the knowledge and experience you need to make your mark in the culinary world, just read on.
Get Ahead of the Game
At The International Culinary Center, culinary and pastry students learn by doing, not by sitting in a lecture hall. Our curriculum has you cooking or baking from day one, developing techniques through hands-on learning and cumulative practice. In less than a year, you’ll graduate with the skills employers crave. So while your friends are still working toward two- and four-year degrees, you’ll be working in the field, earning a salary and getting a jump on the competition.Small School, Big Education
One of the advantages of The International Culinary Center is our size. We're small, which means you get personal attention and instant feedback from your chef-instructors, and our classrooms provide a supportive learning environment to help students develop the confidence they need to succeed in the real world.Plus, Classic Culinary Arts students get real-world work experience under their belts before they graduate by spending the last part of the program cooking for diners (in New York, at our award-winning restaurant, L’Ecole, and in the Monte Bello dining room in California). That gives you serious credentials to compete with.
Additionally, The International Culinary Center is also accredited by the ACCSC (Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges), which demonstrates our commitment to upholding the highest standards in culinary education.
At Home in the Center of the Culinary World
No matter which campus you choose, studying at The International Culinary Center will put you smack-dab in the center of the action. Exposure to an exciting, vibrant food scene will extend your learning to your daily life as you train to become a highly skilled professional.Plus, you’ll have entrée to affordable student dorms that put you just a hop, skip and jump away from your chosen campus. If you’d like, we can also help secure alternative accommodations outside of student housing –we’re here to do everything possible to make your experience an unforgettable one.
Serious Cooking, Serious Fun
After class, you’ll have the opportunity to expand your learning with a host of events designed just for our students. Watch live cooking demos with notable chefs that hail from the vicinity of your campus.
