This resource is intended to guide you through the process of searching for housing in New York City for the duration of your studies.  Inclusion on this page does not constitute an endorsement or recommendation made by the ICC. Below are resources broken into two types: organizations that provide housing directly, or search engines that have listings to search through.

Direct Housing Options

The companies operate and rent apartments or dorm style apartments that specialize in student housing for anywhere from more than 30 days to 1 year.

    EHS provides Off-Campus Housing for students. Properties are located in Brooklyn Heights, the Herald Square neighborhood, Midtown Manhattan, and Downtown Manhattan. All residences are fully furnished and feature 24-hour security, a lounge, communal kitchen, health club options, air conditioning, laundry facilities, computer centers and a communication package. Daily tours of each residence are available.

These are Short Term Real Estate companies that manage and rent their own apartments. There are various amount of listing per company for all budgets and locations. Search through the listings from each company and contact them directly if interested. Most of the listings are short term rentals for 1 month to 1 year.  There are both furnished and unfurnished listings.

 

Housing Search Engines

These sites provide the ability to search listings all over New York City. Use the filters to narrow your search. These are general so if interested, contact directly, and ask them questions about leasing for under one year.  Some will accommodate and some will not.
