Located in the heart of New York City, The International Culinary Center is home to the renowned French Culinary Institute and The Italian Culinary Academy—and a home away from home for those who’ve chosen the culinary arts as their profession and their passion. In addition to a full array of educational programs in culinary arts, pastry arts, bread baking, wine, Italian cooking, restaurant management, and culinary technology, The International Culinary Center houses a Food Journalism & New Media division, headed by our Dean, the award-winning food writer Alan Richman. The short cooking, baking, and beverage courses of our Recreational Division, appeal to seasoned home cooks, kitchen novices, and budding sommeliers alike. Plus, we are always adding to our curriculum, tapping our faculty of accomplished Chef-Instructors to design the most innovative classes in the industry.
